Version Upgrade Problem

Earlier version used to work fine and if the current version seems to trouble.Please downgrade the app to the previous version which was working fine.

  • Please visit apkpure.com to download the required version.
  • Please uninstall this current version
  • Install the downgrade version

Test Print Works but printing from Browser/other app does not work

For Phones from MI, XIAOMI, OPPO, VIVO, REALME, PIXEL, others..... which have Android OS 9 and upwards, they need a special permission for apps that run in the background.

Printing is one such activity, hence you have to enable the print service to run in the background.

Please follow one of the following set of steps to enable it

  • Long Press the Print service icon, this will open an menu
  • select "I"nfo, then "Other Permissions"
  • Select/Allow Start in Background
  • Now, the print service will be able to print successfully.
  • Open Settings
  • Tap on Battery
  • Tap on Energy Saver
  • Tap on the ESC/POS Print Service app icon
  • Ensure that Background Freeze, Abnormal App Optimisation, and Doze are all switched to off
  • Open App Management
  • Tap on the ESC/POS Print Service app icon in question
  • Tap on Power Saver
  • Tap on Allow Background Running

Printing from Browser, the app seems to be struck in Print Preview

The problem is not from our print service. This is a known bug in the Google Chrome Version 78.0.3894.62, 78.0.3904.62, etc.

For now, until Google Chrome is fixed, please use alternate browsers like Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox
